and that it was...
a good day.
we went cliff jumping today and it was insane! i had sooo much fun. we went off of 3 cliffs, the first being 8metres, second- 10m, third - 12m. i love it and hate it all at once. we played with jellyfish(the safe ones) and hung out in the swan river. it was a great day.
we then walked along a sand bar into the river about a mile...which was also cool.
chris and i did these fun things with cat, scott, belinda, and matt.
yesterday we went to 'cohunu koala park' and hung out with some australian wildlife.
it was extremely neat and julie and i had a wonderful time there. on our way to the 'zoo' we were misled by transperth's directions there...we got to the right spot, but when transperth told us we could walk the rest of the 1700m there, they didnt mention that it was impossible because you had to go on the freeway. sooo...we ended up getting lost in a elderly village and had some fun watching them lawn bowl and finding our way outta there.
february is almost over, hard to believe.
next weekend we are possibly going down to a beach town called mandurah with our church friends. it should be a nice time. and we get to see tanya again!
if i can pray for anyone in any situation thats going on right now, i would love it if you'd either comment or email me prayer requests. i'm working on getting to know God better, and just talking to Him about everything, so if i can do that with giving things to God for your sake, i would be ever so grateful.

the venue was so so sweet. none like i have ever been to.
this place was out in the middle of nowhere and was a bit difficult to find with awful directions..but we made it! we were sitting down for the first 3 songs and i was like, "excuse me i cant handle this, i need to go into the crowd" so we made our way into the drunken masses of people and plopped ourselves about 10 rows from the front.
concerts are so fun.
today we went to church and kicked around with cat. she
is one cool cat.

i worked today and saturdays i get paid time and a half of what i'm already making (which is like 17 dollars)..far out. love it.
last night a couple girls from work and i went to annettes house (the swedish lady) and then went into subiaco to go to a bar. it was pretty fun...i like going out with different people. it'll happen again, i reckon, and i like that.
annette was a riot.
the other day i came home with a few loaves of bread from work and knew that we had tons in the freezer still, so i approached a guy on the way home and gave him a loaf and he was so happy about it. and then i went to one of the neighbours and introduced myself and gave him a loaf too. both were very gracious and i realized how easy it is to make someone smile.
i love that.
we're going to see snow patrol tonight! its gonna rule. its raining today though and its in an amphitheatre, so i hope its still on. we are renting a car and chris is gonna have to drive up there. its kinda dodgy, b/c none of us have actually been behind the wheel down here...we'll just have to make sure of us turning onto the correct side of the road...it should be crazy.

how great is our God?
so good.i'm tired now, so this will just be a point form version of a great weekend of new friends and new churches.
we went to that church thing on friday night and it was amazing. tanya picked us up and she is just wonderful. we met her friends at the church and everyone was just lovely.
today we hung out all day with them, cat (tanya's best friend) picked us up for church and stuff and it was great and we went out for lunch and to visit julie at work and then hung out all day and went to another church thing at night at another church. its just so great and these girls -tanya and cat are so so great and they are just what i needed. we have friends now. good christian friends who we truly love already which is so...God. He is so awesome. The timing was perfect and its just going to be great from here on in, i just know it.

oh the joys...
of hopping from job to job.
so a couple days ago i got a job at this pizzeria place called "woodpeckers woodstove pizzas"..it was okay... i kinda felt sketched out there...but then on my second shift, the boss-man pissed me off good and i told myself, okay, looking for another job!
(oh ps - i'm at my job at pronto's still....this is just another job that i'm picking up to keep myself busyyyyyyyyy.)
basically he just didnt treat staff they deserve to be treated and was super controlling and i didnt need to be told what to do even though it was my second shift - i freakin ran the show the whole night while another girl just butter bread. i was like....whhhat?!! i was walking home praying and wondering if i should for sure quit..and then i saw a lady closing up her restaurant when i was just down the street from home, and i didnt really think about it, but i just walked across the street and talked to the woman (who was the owner) and asked about any positions opening and she told me to come in the next day...sooooo i went in this afternoon and she told me to come in for the dinner shift for a trial.
i then walked into subiaco and talked to boss-man and told him i found another job that was closer to home, so i'm giving my 2 shifts notice...and he said "so you think just because you found a job closer to home you can just quit this job?" and i said, "thats right..." meanwhile, i wanted to kick his shins. so i told him i'd come into work on friday...and he said ok...
then he called me back a bit later and told me not to bother...so i'm like - "excellent."
so i went in for my "trial" tonight and it was goooooood. its a nice little place - called aperol (its an italian cafe and pizzeria)...the people seem nice and it'll be good to keep me busy!!
ack. ok. so this week flew by b/c of all the dramas. woohoo!
i am tired...i only ot 3 hours sleep last night - i woke up at 515 today to go to work...mmmmm. lovely.
ok. i'm done.
ps. i have the best sister ever.

oh how i love them.
my coworker(and friend) , annette...is from sweden and she is hilarious and makes me laugh SO MUCH. typing out things she does wouldnt be funny to anyone else, except for me...
but i'm glad she makes me laugh and makes my time at work very enjoyable.

i've discovered my love for plain M&M here. i loooove m&m peanuts...but plain ones are striking my fancy these days.
i cant believe its already february.
it seems like so long and so little ago that i was home. its weird.
this week ACTUALLY flew by. it had wings and all.
julie and i walked into perth (city central) and went into this aboriginal store and the guy in there taught us how to play the didjeridu!!! julie is gonna get one before she goes home. it was hilarious. very cool. if you wanna watch a video of us 'playing'...go here....
